You can ask Vulcan Technologies, Inc. to delete some or all of the data held about you in Justinian without closing your account. You do not need to be signed in, and you do not need the app installed.

1. How to request deletion
Email support@vulcan.ai from the address on your account with the subject "Data deletion request". Use the button above and your mail client will open with the request already written. Say which data you want removed. If you cannot send mail from the address on your account, write from any address and say which account you mean, and we will verify your identity before acting.
2. What you can have deleted
Your chat and query history, the documents and files you uploaded, your saved searches and alerts, your workspace preferences, and the analytics events tied to your user identifier. You can ask for all of it or name only the parts you want removed. Your account stays open and you keep using Justinian.
3. What we keep, and why
We keep the account record itself, meaning your profile and login credentials, because the account remains open. We keep billing and tax records for the period required by law, and any records we are separately required to preserve, such as those subject to a legal hold. We also keep aggregate and de-identified usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
4. How long it takes
We confirm receipt within one business day and complete verified deletions within 30 days. Copies held in encrypted backups are purged on our normal backup cycle, within 90 days of the request. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
5. Accounts managed by an organization
If your account was created for you by an employer or agency, that organization administers it and may need to authorize the deletion. Contact your administrator first. Write to us either way and we will tell you where your request stands.
