Today, we're excited to release our own fully operational Vulcan Office, including a very powerful spreadsheet editor, word processor, and presentation slides engine.
Vulcan Office
Until now, when Justinian generated documents, spreadsheets, or PowerPoints, it opened them inside our own secure clone of an open-source library called Collabora, a free and non-copyrighted alternative to Microsoft Office. This worked well — enabling users to generate, iterate on, share, and export files — but it looked like software from 1995, was laggy, and had very unfriendly behaviors (like an uncloseable formatting sidebar on the right).
